Out of the Depths:
Meditations on Hope
Fall 2025 Exhibition
Port Logo 6.png

As we continue to celebrate the Jubilee Year of Hope, this fall we will explore themes of hope through art. In October, The Port along with the Assisi Arts Community will be hosting an exhibit entitled, "Out of the Depths: Meditations on Hope."

The title for this theme is taken from Psalm 130—"Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord, Lord, hear my voice!" It is a psalm that cries out for God's mercy and presence in our lives. We live in hopeful expectation that His mercy does not fail, and that He is with us in the midst of life's many challenges.

My soul is longing for the Lord

more than watchman for daybreak.

Let the watchman count on daybreak

and Israel on the Lord.

Because with the Lord there is mercy

and fullness of redemption

We will be accepting artwork submissions from local artists up until September 12. You can find more info below.

Much like our previous series, along with the exhibit, we will be hosting a range of events that will dive into this theme. More info to come soon!
