Join us for our summer book, "The Lighthouse" by Michael O’Brien. This book tells the story of Ethan McQuarry a lighthouse keeper who lives alone on his island, quietly living out his duty.

St. Padre Pio Parish and The Port are providing an opportunity for prayer and reflection. Lectio Divina, "Divine Reading," is a time-proven method of prayer in which we slowly and prayerfully read and meditate upon the scriptures.

St. Clare of Assisi knew when she heard Francis preach that she wanted to be part of his new program to make the Gospel a real “word of life for all Christian people.” She joined his project and groups of dedicated women joined them—finally becoming the Order we call the “Poor Clares.”

Come on down to The Port for coffee and baked goods, and help make a few blessing bags. Each bag will include a few snacks and personal care items. We will gather following St. Pio Parish's 9:30 AM Mass / before the 11:30 AM Mass. We will be collecting donations for the blessing bags.
