About the speaker:
Cardinal Seán Patrick O'Malley is a Capuchin Franciscan friar who served as the Archbishop of Boston from 2003 to 2024. A key advisor to Pope Francis, he is globally recognized for leading the Church’s efforts in clerical abuse reform and child protection. Throughout his ministry, he has been distinguished by his humble demeanor, his signature brown habit, and his advocacy for social justice and immigration.
